It seems as though Critter Island has been removed/disappeared from Facebook. I do not know why it has been removed but I have emailed a contact at Lolapps and will hopefully be able to give you a update soon.
So hang fire for the moment and hopefully this will be resolved ASAP.
While you’re waiting why not check out some of the other Facebook Games on our blog.

Critter Island has been removed directly by Facebook. I still do not know the reasons why but this is now confirmed.
The developers of Critter Island are trying to get it back up as soon as possible, but I do not have a time frame.
