Unless you’ve been living under a Facebook rock for the past few years then you’ve likely heard of Mafia Wars. Mafia wars spread like a force of nature across Facebook and has become one of the most popular Facebook games.
Mafia wars is all about recruiting your friends into your Mafia and then arming them with all kinds of crazy and unique items so you can take on other players as well as complete an assortment of jobs in a bid to become the most successful and strongest Mafia.
You can increase the size of your Mafia by recruiting your friends or using your reward points to add to the size of your Mafia. Reward points are the currency used to buy special items which bring special bonuses and boosts. You can earn reward points by increasing your level or buying them with real money.
The learning curve can be quite steep, in the beginning I didn’t understand what was the ultimate goal but as I progressed through the ranks it became clear that there are multiple goals to suit different types of players. However, the main goal as I came to understand it is to simply progress in all areas and move onto other cities.
Mafia Wars is regularly updated and one of the recent additions is animals which you can earn or buy using rewards points. Some of the new animals are powerful additions to your Mafia giving you that extra boost.
Mafia Wars is an interesting game once you get the hang of it and you should download the Mafia Wars toolbar to keep track of your energy and stamina. I find the most enjoyment by taking on jobs, collecting items and robbing other people’s properties! Probably the most difficult aspect is getting all the items for your chop shop and weapons depot. A fully upgraded weapons depot will allow you to access some amazing weapons to rain down hell on your opponents.
Once you’ve mastered one location you can travel to another location like the recent addition of Bangkok to begin building your reigh of domination once more!
