New FB game Beta testing needed!!!

Hi there all!!!

I have been working for the past year on a very ambitious facebook game that involves cars. It is loaded with features and has more than one way to play it.

I am getting the beta out probably on Thursday, May 10th 2012.

The game is for everyone - I made sure that many types of players will be able to have a blast: You can customize vehicles with parts and repair and basically do many things from mini games to racing (real race using the keyboard) and more with your cars and all in facebook. It integrates 3d with flash so players can rotate their vehicles around.

I will come back in the following week to check comments and interests, and hopefully get some testers that will help me.

Is it a 2D or 3D type game? What game inspired you to create this?

The game itself is a 2d Flash game but the car models are all in 3d and you can rotate them - the dev team created this 3d engine that is working very well in facebook.

What inspired me?

I think most of the inspiration is missing the great car games from the 80s' and 90s' where you just race using buttons on the keyboard and adding some sort of activity to it and be able to customize them to what you want - more speed for race, better HPs and damage for demolition derby and so on.

Also after looking around I have noticed that most of the games today are just drag and place and I wanted to make something very cool - so I figured that maybe letting the player jump in and have the ability to fix and repair, and customize the vehicle (to a degree of course) and do stuff with it more than just drag racing should be fun. It makes it so much more intimate connection between the player and the things that he is doing in the game.

Hi all, sorry for the delay of few days but I just didn't think it was ready for Beta just yet.

But this upcoming version is going to be the beta and I will send you all invitations through facebook if that is OK with you. So this Thursday should be the time although everyone is going to play Diablo 3

Or just put the link in here. Either way if you want to do the beta and not just play around with it then let me know so I can set your account to be a tester so you can get the FB credits for this game for free for the duration of the beta testing.

Ok all, I am happy to let you know that the beta is up and running. Go on FB, and look for Ridepros.

It will be the app one, and there is a community page as well.

There are some bugs such as the cash repair button showing a wrong value.

There is a feedback button on the left of the canvas where you can feel free to leave feedback, ideas, and reports.

Please be helpful if you can, and when I get to see you guys through the admin I can set you up as testers so that you don't have to use real money for the FB coins (only on this app :p and only for the duration of the testing).
