Over the past month Face-gamers.com has tripled in unique visits. However, we don’t just see a statistic, we see real people who want to enjoy discovering new Facebook Games. In order to accommodate the wide variety and locations of individual people we have made improvements to the site.
Language controls
If you look to the sidebar, just below the Facebook likebox you will see that you can now select your native language. We think this is a fantastic addition to Face-gamers.com and relish the fact that we can now provide our content in your native language to give you a better experience. Please leave your feedback on this change and tell us if you find it useful.
Facebook comments
Previously, you had to enter your details into a form before you were allowed to post a comment(Bleh!). Well, we have removed the standard WordPress comment box which forced you to enter your details and replaced it with a nice sleek Facebook comment box. What this means is that if you are already logged into Facebook in your browser(and lets’ be honest, who isn’t?), you can now make a comment without having to log in to ANYTHING! The Facebook comment box we added is actually part of Facebook itself, it uses a special encrypted key that allows you to make a post from Facebook. Genius! No more forms!
Site Speed
Behind the scenes we have installed a new cache and optimization system which will allow our pages to load much faster. This means you get a better experience while browsing Face-gamers.com. We also made a few tiny template adjustments which we think increases usability.
