What do you think fof Zynga's latest Best Facebook game?
Empires and Allies is Zynga’s latest attempt to keep on top of the Facebook games market. I was taken aback by the introduction movie, I’ve never seen a movie like this before in a Facebook game. It was a nice surprise and really does set the scene for the antics that will likely take place in this war Facebook game.
Zynga is known for creating some of the most popular and best Facebook games so I was really expecting something which sets itself apart from the other games. Already I feel like it is beginning to deliver with the beautiful introduction sequence.
The battle sequences really are quite cute and again it is something i’ve not seen before in a Facebook game. However it does not actually provide anything new or interesting in terms of gameplay to the games genre.
Empires and Allies kind of feels like a cross between City of Wonder and Army Attack, a strange combination but successful nonetheless!
I think Zynga has tried to push the boundaries with this latest Facebook game, but are they really breaking out of the mould and offering something new? You decide!
