Sunday afternoons will never be the same again. City of Wonder has beaten Sid Meier’s Civilization Network to the post to launch one of the first credible civilization management Facebook games.
While managing your city to glory you will need to research new technologies to progress your civilization. In order to increase the population of your city you must construct buildings to provide culture and happiness for your citizens.
Raising your city from the depths is a beautiful experience and when you citizens begin a parade in your honor it only adds to the polished feel of the game.
However, you are not the only city around. Using the exploration button you can discover other cities where you may trade culture, goods or even attack other cities. This adds purpose and some competition to the overall experience.
City of Wonder is a great take on a “Civilization” simulation. We will have to wait for Civilization Network to see how it compares.
